My First Pie!!!!!
Now many of you know that I am a pretty good cook....many think I'm an AWESOME cook but I'm not bragging...lol. I do really love to cook for people...that's the joy I get from being in the kitchen. So now that I am feeling much, much better I have the "new recipe" bug....lol....and.....I made my very first pie from scratch tonight....from the crust to the filling! It's a Vanilla Creme Pie. It sounded good when I read it in the cook book and it actually turned out really good! I will be looking for a different crust recipe....I don't care for the one in this cook book...so you may here of another Pie success story over the weekend!

I made my first pie this Thanksgiving and my friend gave me the recipe for the crust. I will dig it out and e-mail it ot you.
Now, you can make an apple pie for your Dad, with walnuts!!!! You know I am not a piemaker!!!!!! Anyway, having 2 daughters who are piemakers, I will enjoy the pies. I' m silly. Love Nana C
