Weird Week and Wednesday

Okay...it's just been a weird week all around. I suppose it's because of the time change or at least I have something to blame the strangeness on...lol...not to mention that well, it's that "time" of the month so add that to the time change and no wonder I'm feeling all funky. Last night I made rice to go with our BBQ'd steak and hello....I didn't cook it long enough and we had to throw it out! That's a first for me! Then I got the baking-bug and decided to make a pinapple upside down cake....I baked it for the allotted time and the toothpick came out clean but after letting the cake cool on my wire rack I inverted it onto the plate and wammo! The middle was still all gooey and gross...so, off into the trash it went....right on top of the rice!!! If I could have gotten away with locking myself in my room with nothing but myself and the TV remote I would have.....but I didn't...my hubby made some instant mashed potatos to go with the steak and dinner was saved...and we had plenty of Girl Scout Cookies to satisfy our after dinner sweet tooth....thanks for letting me vent....
